The location was absolutely stunning, surrounded by palm trees and beautiful rice fields. The room was not only comfortable but also spotless, with fantastic air conditioning. The owners of the hotel were the highlight of our stay, as they went above and beyond to assist us with our tuktuk rental and travel plans. They even drove us to the rock at sunrise and back. The breakfast provided was amazing and kept us full for our long journey. The welcome drink was a lovely touch. The owner's wife cooked the most delicious rice and curry we had throughout our entire trip in Sri Lanka. Dinner at the hotel surpassed any other meal we had in town. If you're looking for an authentic experience with mouthwatering food and breathtaking scenery, this is the place to stay!

Although the room could get a little hot, opening the windows and turning on the fan quickly cooled it down, allowing us to sleep well. The only other downside was the heat in Sigiriya itself, as the rooms were cooled only by fans.

This place is situated in a peaceful area surrounded by lush greenery, and the shower facilities with fresh towels were very convenient.

I had an really good stay at a cozy and green homestay in Sigiriya. The room was spacious and clean, and the surroundings were lush and quiet. The family who runs the place were friendly and cute. The owner even prepared breakfast for me at 5:00 am and went out of his way to help me when I had a transportation issue. I definitely got more than I paid for and would highly recommend this place. I had a wonderful experience at River Side Home Stay.

The people were warm and friendly, making us feel right at home. They were always smiling and were great too ensure our comfort. One specific situation that stood out was when we wanted to visit Lion Rock. The owner dropped us there for free whenever we wanted, saving us money and time. The homemade meals were delicious and served with love. the location was beautiful, offering a touch of traditional Asiatic houses and close proximity to nature. We even spotted peacocks right outside our room. The only drawback was that the place was slightly isolated and connectivity by vehicle could pose some challenges. overall I highly recommend this hotel for a wonderful stay.

One of the highlights was the natural river pool where we could relax and have a refreshing swim. The location was also convenient, as it was close to Sigiriya and Pidurangala Rock. we highly recommend this place for a nice and cute experience.

What a delightful surprise our stay at Sigiriya River Side Home Stay turned out to be! We were warmly welcomed into their family and instantly made to feel at home. The beautiful garden, complete with a pond where you can have your feet cleaned by fish, added to the tranquil atmosphere. The spacious and clean rooms, along with the proximity to shops and restaurants, made our stay even more enjoyable. The family's hospitality, delicious food, and helpfulness were truly outstanding. Our children had a blast playing with their adorable daughter. We were even offered transportation services, which proved to be safe and reliable. All in all, a remarkable experience that we wished could have lasted longer!

We had an amazing time at River Side Home Stay! Our stay in Sigiriya was the highlight of our trip, thanks to the lovely rooms, stunning location by the river, and the playful monkeys and fish. Indica and his family were incredibly friendly and helpful, and their delicious curry and rice was the best we had on our whole trip. Highly recommended!

The host was very welcoming and showed us around the nearby river. the breakfast and dinner were delicious and we enjoyed the authentic Sri Lankan flavors. the location of the hotel was quiet and peaceful, away from the main road. We also appreciated the comfortable and clean room, as well as the refreshing welcome fruit juice.
